Ashton Van Horne
Ashton Van Horne leads at 13-under (1 under, through seven) with James Nicholas one back at 12 under (3 under, through seven) as play was suspended in the third round at the 2026 Astara Golf Championship at the Country Club de Bogotá – Lagos.
Seventy three players still need to complete Round 3 and players will not be re-paired for the final round. The second round was also suspended and resumed on Saturday. But bad weather saw the third round suspended for more than three hours before play resumed. It was suspended again due to darkness.
Van Horne would hold first career 54-hole lead/co-lead on Tour if his position remains at the conclusion of Round 3.
He is competing via medical extension (hip injury) and is making his first start on Tour since the 2025 Tulum Championship last May. He is making third appearance at the Astara Golf Championship, having finished T57/2023 and T49/2025 previously.
James Nicholas is in provisional second on 12 under after carding 3 under with 11 holes left to play;
Overnight leader Cristobal Del Solar still sits under 10-under after playing only 10 holes in the round.
