Fallon Sherrock will make her seventh appearance at the World Darts Championship after qualifying through the PDC Women’s Series, as Vicky Pruim is set to make history in securing her debut.
Sherrock – who infamously became the first woman to win on the Alexandra Palace stage in 2019 – will return to North London in December after finishing third on the Women’s Series rankings.
Four of the 48 international qualifiers for the sport’s flagship event are rewarded to players from the Women’s Series Rankings, with 2025 Women’s World Matchplay champion Lisa Ashton also securing a return to the English capital.
Gemma Hayter will make her second consecutive appearance after concluding this year’s Women’s Series action in fourth, while Pruim is set to become the first Swedish female player to feature at Alexandra Palace.
Pruim made her debut at the Women’s World Matchplay in July and will cap off an impressive year with a maiden outing at the sport’s biggest event in December.
Beau Greaves won 17 of the 24 events of the year to comfortably finish top of the 2026 Women’s Series. However, the Doncaster star is already certain of qualification via the ProTour rankings.
Greaves’ qualification spot is therefore passed down to fifth on the Women’s Series rankings, allowing Pruim to make history in qualifying for the World Championship.
Four more names will secure their Alexandra Palace places in October, as the CDC Top Ranked American & Canadian will be confirmed following the conclusion of Event 16 on October 18.
The ANZ Premier League and Hungarian Super League winners will also earn World Championship call-ups, with both of these spots to be confirmed on October 31.
