Reigning champion Luke Littler will take on Daryl Gurney, Connor Scutt and Karel Sedlacek at the 2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, with the group stage draw for this year’s showpiece now confirmed.
The 32-player tournament will take place from November 8-16 at WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton, as World Champion Littler eyes back-to-back titles in the West Midlands.
The teenage sensation will be seeded second and headlines Group E, which also features World Cup winner Gurney, Tour Card Holder Qualifier Scutt and Czech number one Sedlacek.
Littler stormed to victory in sensational style on his Grand Slam debut 12 months ago, and he will begin his defence of the Eric Bristow Trophy against Sedlacek on Saturday November 8.
The opening round-robin games will take place during a bumper double session on Saturday, as world number one Luke Humphries – the 2023 Grand Slam winner – faces CDC Continental Cup champion Alex Spellman in their opener in Group A, which also features Nathan Aspinall and 2022 champion Michael Smith.
Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen will headline a blockbuster Group G, which also includes two-time runner-up Gary Anderson, Germany’s rising star Niko Springer and Women’s Series winner Beau Greaves.
Van Gerwen and Greaves will go head-to-head in Saturday’s stand-out opening tie, as the World Youth Championship finalist aims to advance to the knockout stages for the first time in her career.
Newly crowned European Champion Gian van Veen will renew his rivalry with Northern Ireland’s World Cup champion Josh Rock and his fellow Dutchman Wessel Nijman on the Grand Slam stage, with Women’s World Matchplay champion Lisa Ashton completing Group F.
World number four Stephen Bunting opens his title challenge against PDC Asian Tour winner Alexis Toylo, with Germany’s number one Martin Schindler and Tour Card Holder Qualifier Luke Woodhouse also starring in Group C.
Three-time Grand Slam runner-up James Wade is the seeded player in Group D, which also features treble champion Gerwyn Price, quick-fire star Ricky Evans and Switzerland’s Stefan Bellmont.
World number six Jonny Clayton has been handed a tough assignment in Group H, as he prepares to take on Development Tour winner Cam Crabtree in his opening fixture on Saturday.
The Welshman will also take on former UK Open champion Danny Noppert in the round-robin phase, with the Dutchman kicking off his campaign against German debutant Lukas Wenig.
Elsewhere, eighth seed Chris Dobey goes up against World Youth Championship runner-up Jurjen van der Velde, while Australian number one Damon Heta and 2024 runner-up Martin Lukeman also collide in Group B.
