Mitchell Lawrie extended his lead at the top of the JDC Advanced Tour rankings over the weekend, as Alfie Cook, Jayden Walker and Archie Self also claimed titles in Bristol.
The year’s second weekend of JDC Advanced Tour action took place at Hangar 61, as Lawrie continued his terrific start to 2026.
The 15-year-old claimed three consecutive titles on the opening weekend of action last month, and he sealed his fourth straight triumph with Event Five success on Saturday.
Following comfortable wins over Archie Self and Joseph Westby, Lawrie whitewashed Owen Bryceland and Alfie Moore to book his place in the semi-finals, where he defeated Christian Ennis 5-2.
Lawrie then ran out a 6-3 winner against Jack Johnson in the Event Five showpiece, reeling off three consecutive legs to extend his remarkable winning run to 24 matches.
Johnson – the winner of the JDC Super 16 title last year – also featured in the finals of Event Six and Seven, succumbing to Cook and Walker respectively.
Cook stormed to a 6-1 victory in Saturday’s Event Six showpiece, reeling off six consecutive legs to open his 2026 account.
The 13-year-old had edged past Harry Childs in his opening round tie, before dispatching Ochirbat Erdenebayer, Oscar Rumsey, Jack Marshall and Charlie Greensmith en route to glory.
Walker added his name to the roll of honour in Event Seven, following up a semi-final whitewash of Lewis Cook with a 6-2 demolition of Johnson in the final.
This was preceded by a quarter-final win over Addison Hefferon, while he also dumped out Mongolia’s Tergal Khurelkhuu and recovered from 3-1 down to deny Ridley Ladigus earlier in the event.
Self then rounded off the weekend’s proceedings with victory in Event Eight, demolishing JDC Winmau World Masters champion Kaya Baysal 6-1 to take the title.
The 16-year-old overturned a 4-3 deficit to prevail in a dramatic semi-final against Arthur Allston, having also won through a seven-leg affair against Ethan Hawden in round one.
Self also accounted for Belgian duo Eelyas Van Bruyssel and Aaron De Ridder, before defeating Scotland’s Max Young in the quarter-finals.
