England’s Niamh Lilly Cosgrove won gold after a close final against Hira Nur Temizel of Turkiye. Cosgrove stayed calm in a fast bout and edged the match 4-3. The fight stayed open until the final seconds, with both athletes trading attacks.
Female Kumite -55 kg: Fatemehzahra Saeidabadi Dominates Final
Iran’s Fatemehzahra Saeidabadi delivered one of the strongest performances of the day. She defeated Madina Sadigova of Azerbaijan by a clear 8-0 score. Saeidabadi controlled the distance and scored early, leaving no chance for a comeback.
Female Team Kata: Egypt Outlasts Japan
Egypt won the female team kata title after a close contest with Japan. The final score was 3-2. Both teams showed sharp timing and strong rhythm but Egypt gained the edge with precise synchronization and clean transitions.
Male Kumite -60 kg: Mohammad Goudarziyan Takes Gold
Iran added another title through Mohammad Goudarziyan in the -60 kg category. He beat Nurassyl Mussa of Kazakhstan 4-1. Goudarziyan managed the match well and protected his lead with smart movement.
Male Kumite -67 kg: Matej Belistojanoski Wins on Even Score
North Macedonia’s Matej Belistojanoski earned gold after a dramatic final against Abdul Vakhkhob Rashidov of Uzbekistan. The match ended 7-7. Belistojanoski took the win on tie-breaking criteria after an intense exchange of attacks.
Male Team Kata: Kuwait Secures Convincing Victory
Kuwait won the male team kata final with a 4-1 victory over Portugal. The Kuwaiti team impressed the judges with strong stances and clear technique. Portugal pushed hard, but Kuwait stayed consistent throughout the routine.
