Beau Greaves became the first woman to qualify for a PDC European Tour event on a historic day of action in Leicester last night.
Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for ET11-12 took place with a bumper double-header at the Mattioli Arena, with each qualifier producing ten players per event.
The Hungarian Darts Trophy (ET11) will take place at the MVM Dome in Budapest from August 28-30, before the Czech Darts Open (ET12) is held at the PVA Expo in Prague from September 4-6.
Greaves was one of four players to complete a qualification double in the East Midlands, winning seven consecutive matches to celebrate another milestone in her career.
The 22-year-old became the first woman to win a PDC ranking title back in April, and she continued to break new ground by securing her spot in Budapest and Prague respectively.
Greaves landed ton-plus averages in wins over Andy Boulton and Tom Bissell in the ET11 Qualifier, averaging almost 103 in her winner-takes-all showdown against the latter.
The two-time Women’s World Matchplay champion maintained her winning run in the ET12 Qualifier, dispatching Wesley Plaisier and Cor Dekker before edging past Lukas Wenig in a last-leg decider to cap off a perfect darting day.
Cristo Reyes, Connor Scutt and Keane Barry also won through both events on Wednesday, as Spanish star Reyes landed a hat-trick of ton-plus averages to continue his remarkable European Tour qualification record.
Scutt was similarly impressive – averaging 103, 99, 102 and 108 during a rampant ET12 qualification campaign, while Barry prevailed in three deciding-leg tussles during a marathon day of competition.
Former European Champion Ritchie Edhouse headlined the list of ET11 Qualifiers, averaging north of 99 against Poland’s Sebastian Bialecki in a straight shootout for a place in Budapest.
Tom Sykes – a semi-finalist at the recent Slovak Darts Open – whitewashed two-time World Champion Peter Wright en route to qualification for ET11, advancing alongside James Hurrell, Samuel Price and Maik Kuivenhoven.
Australia’s Adam Leek completed the list of qualifiers for ET11, overcoming Viktor Tingstrom, Dominik Gruellich, Mervyn King and Adam Lipscombe to confirm his European Tour debut.
Callan Rydz averaged almost 102 in sealing his spot at the Czech Darts Open, advancing alongside Belgian duo Kim Huybrechts and Mario Vandenbogaerde.
Elsewhere, Rob Owen and Stephen Burton will make their second European Tour appearances of 2026 in the Czech capital, while Swedish number one Jeffrey de Graaf also cruised through the ET12 Qualifier.
Mike De Decker, Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright were among the high-profile names to succumb in both qualifiers, with Dave Chisnall missing out on a place in ET12.
European Tour events will see 16 seeds from the PDC World Rankings exempt to the last 32 of each tournament, while the top 16 players from the ProTour Rankings will take on the remaining 16 qualifiers in round one.
