The third day of the Karate One Youth League in Manila, the Philippines, highlighted the global strength of youth karate as champions from eight different countries claimed gold medals across nine categories.
Junior Kumite Male -68 kg
Ibrahim Alkhathiri of Saudi Arabia secured the gold medal after a tight 2-1 victory over Almat Nurseiit of Kazakhstan. The final remained close throughout, but Alkhathiri showed good control in the decisive moments to take the title in one of the most competitive categories of the day.
Junior Kumite Male -76 kg
Sardor Bakhromov of Uzbekistan earned the top place on the podium with a narrow 2-1 win against Baher Abdelsamie of Egypt. Both athletes displayed strong tactical skills, but Bakhromov managed to score the decisive point to claim gold.

Ihsane Adjanonhoun of Benin captured the gold medal after defeating Osama Hawsawi of Saudi Arabia 6-4 in an entertaining final. The match featured continuous attacking action from both competitors, with Adjanonhoun finishing stronger to secure victory.
Junior Kumite Female -66 kg
Mariam Bsharat of Palestine delivered a composed performance to win the category with a 3-0 triumph over Laura Strahija of Croatia. Bsharat controlled the pace of the bout from the beginning and successfully defended her advantage until the end.

Safiia Nezametdinova of WKF-1 dominated the final against Živa Kristančič of Slovenia, winning 5-0 to take gold. Nezametdinova showed sharp attacking skills and strong defensive control throughout the contest.
Cadet Kumite Male -70 kg
Marzouq Abdulkhayr of Saudi Arabia added the second gold medal for his country today after overcoming Egor Grishkin of WKF-1 by 3-1. Abdulkhayr stayed consistent during the final and used his speed effectively to secure the victory.

Omar Gogrichiani of Georgia claimed the title after a scoreless final against Patthapee Promsorn of Thailand. With the match ending 0-0, the winner was decided by hantei, with the judges awarding the victory to Gogrichiani after a closely contested performance.
Cadet Kumite Female -61 kg
Linda Klempová of Slovakia produced one of the strongest performances of the day, defeating Paula Gines Chavarry of Spain by 10-0. Klempová was dominant from the opening seconds and secured an impressive victory with decisive attacking combinations.

Ise Van Bommel of the Netherlands closed the day with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Petra Babić of Croatia. The final remained balanced until the final moments, but Van Bommel managed to hold her advantage to secure the gold medal.
