The Cambodian futsal team were given a 1-8 thrashing by China in the playoff match at the CFA International Futsal tournament in Shijiazhuang, China.
The national squad will now play against the winner of the match between New Zealand and the United Arab Emirate for seventh position.
Cambodia were beaten 2-5 by New Zealand in their preliminary group matches. They also succumbed to Myanmar 1-4 and Indonesia 1-5.
Group B table toppers Indonesia play South Korea in the semi-finals while favourites Denmark take on Myanmar in the other semi-finals.
