Ludvig Aberg fired a 9-under 63 to take an outright two-shot at the Players Championship. Having tied first with four others after the first round, he is now 12-under with a 132 total.

Making his second start of the season since returning from back surgery in November, former champion Justin Thomas is T4 with Corey Conners at eight-under. Conners birdied five of his first six holes in his round of 67.
