Tyler Duncan shot a third-round 68 to get to seven-under at The Panama Championship, to lead by one stroke heading into the final round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 36-year-old American made three birdies against one bogey to follow up on an opening round 1-under 69 with a 4-under 66 in the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duncan, who is bidding for his first Korn Ferry Tour victory, is being chased by the trio of Mason Andersen, Cole Hammer and Ian Gilligan. A further stroke behind are Adam Hadwin, Trevor Cone and Ian Holt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duncan is making his fourth career start at The Panama Championship, having recorded his best career finish at the event with a T17 last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had defeated Webb Simpson in a sudden-death playoff at the 2019 The RSM Classic to earn his first PGA Tour victory; after having birdied three of the final four holes of his final round to force the playoff,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile Andersen, who won the Argentina Open bounced back from a second-round 2-over 73 with a bogey-free 5-under 65, the only bogey-free round on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hammer making his fourth career start at The Panama Championship, recorded his lowest score at the event with a 4-under 66.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As for Gilligan, who finished No. 4 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2025, he now holds his highest 54-hole position on Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PGA TOUR winner Hadwin, who is making his first start of the 2026 season, carded a 2-under 68 and is in contention for his third Korn Ferry Tour win. His previous victories came a good 12 years ago, at the Chile Classic Small Business Connection Championship in 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brett White, who is tied eight on four-under stands inside the top 10 after 54 holes for the second time in his Korn Ferry Tour career; the other occurrence came at the 2022 The Panama Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Open qualifier Jackson Van Paris (T8\/-4) is in search of a top-10 finish to earn a start at next week\u2019s Astara Golf Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
