MacDonald had opened his campaign at the gold championship with a 5-under 65, his lowest score in 16 career rounds at The Panama Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The golfer, who turned professional in 2016, has two PGA TOUR-sanctioned wins – the 2023 Commissionaires Ottawa Open and the 2024 Diners Club Peru Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overnight co-leader Ian Holt, who won last time out at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic carded 1-over 71 in the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
