Scottie Scheffler capped off 36 bogey-free holes with an 8-under 64 on the Nicklaus Tournament Course to enter the clubhouse at 17 under. But Brown stole the show, by breaking the course record at the Nicklaus Tournament Course with a 60, the the lowest PGA Tour round by an 18-year-old in 43 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blades Brown captured the attention with three separate chances to shoot 59. He never did get that low, but his course record 12-under 60 is still an impressive feat from the recent high school graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He came into the tournament after playing in the Korn Ferry Tour’s Great Abaco Classic in the Bahamas. He began his day with six birdies and an eagle in his first seven holes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
