Gede Priandana has put himself in the cricket record books by taking five wickets in a single over in Indonesia\u2019s T20 International match against Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He became the first bowler to take 5 wickets in an over in an international T20I match. His bowling antics saw Indonesia cruise to a 60-run victory in their friendly series at the Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bangladeshi Al-Amin Hossain and Indian Abhimanyu Mithun have taken five wickets in an over in domestic T20 cricket. But Priandana is the first to achieve it this level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cambodia were 106-5 in their chase of 168 for victory when Priandana was called on to \u200bbowl the 16th over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 28-year-old destroyed the middle and lower order in a seven-ball over. Priandana removed Shah Abrar Hussain, Nirmaljit Singh and Chanthoeun Rathanak with his first three balls. He then bowled a dot ball before dismissing Mongdara Sok and Pel Vannak either side of a wide to bowl out Cambodia for 107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Priandana had earlier contribute with six runs off 11 on the scoreboard for Indonesia. Dharma Kesuma notched up 110 runs which helped Indonesia post 167 runs. Etienne Beukes and Shah Abrar Hussain contributed two wickets each for Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting between the nations are the first since the controversial series between both sides in 2023. Cambodia had then conceded the match midway through their innings and accused the home umpires of “making huge mistakes”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
