Defending champions Egypt and losing finalists Malaysia will once again spearhead the 12-team Squash World Cup in Chennai from December 9-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All five of World Squash’s Continental Federations will be represented at this year’s Squash World Cup, a mixed-gender competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the last edition, in 2023, Egypt claimed the title in an exciting come-from-behind victory against Malaysia <\/u><\/strong>in front of a sell-out crowd at Express Avenue Mall, in Chennaio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hosts India, the losing semi-finalists two years ago will join Malaysia, Iran, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong China as the Asian representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Africa will be represented by Egypt and South Africa while Europe by Poland and Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oceania will be represented by Australia and Panamericana by Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The tournament will see squads of two men and two women playing ties of four matches against each other, with each match being best-of-five games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event was relaunched in 2023, with a number of innovative changes brought in, including scoring games to seven and sudden death tiebreaks when scores are at 6-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This format will remain place for the fifth edition of the Squash World Cup, with
