With four points in the bag, the Cambodian outfit will aim to seal progression when they take on Chinese Taipei\u2019s Tainan City FC on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A blistering start to the game saw Phnom Penh\u2019s Ty Sa smacking a close range effort against the post in the second minute before Matheus Souza drew a reflex save from Chen Samnang at the other end a minute later.
Shan United opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Myat Kaung Khant, who side-footed home from the middle of the box but the goal was the result of a majestic solo run from Mark Sekyi from his own half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phnom Penh looked to respond and dominated possession for the rest of the opening half but only got close through a Raul Feher glancing header that went wide as the Myanmar side kept their advantage at the break.
The Cambodian side emerged for the second half with steely determination and found the equaliser three minutes in when Moses Dyer outjumped Ye Min Thu to nod home Sa Ty\u2019s cross from the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phnom Penh almost went ahead in the 55th minute when Makerlo Tellez\u2019s run into the box and subsequent cutback found Sa Ty but the post denied the forward for the second time in the game.
Khun Kyaw Zin Hein then saw his effort saved by Samnang before the Phnom Penh custodian showed great reaction to readjust his body to tip away Sa Aung Pyae Ko\u2019s deflected shot with the post coming to his rescue in the 62nd minute to deny Pyae Ko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
