{"id":5343,"date":"2025-10-28T19:24:58","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T12:24:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.infinitysport.asia\/news\/?p=5343"},"modified":"2025-10-28T20:35:00","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T13:35:00","slug":"all-out-in-bahrain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.infinitysport.asia\/news\/all-out-in-bahrain\/","title":{"rendered":"All out in Bahrain"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lamkimna Sisuchhada, the sole surviving Cambodian athlete in the table tennis competition at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, was shown the exit in the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lamkimna qualified for the second round of the boys\u2019 singles round of 64 when he came back from a game down to beat Essa Al-Haddad of Qatar 11-13, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5 in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he was outplayed 2-11, 2-11, 8-11 in the second round by China\u2019s formidable Tang Yiren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BADMINTON<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the badminton mixed doubles round of 32, William Ea-Malyneth Loeung lost to Bjorn Jaison-Angel Punera of India 6-21, 6-21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malyneth Loeung was also at the receiving hands in the girls\u2019 singles round of 32. Despite fighting hard, she was beaten 14-21, 21-23 by Amin-Erdene Odbayar of Mongolia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also the end of the road for the Cambodian representative in the boys\u2019 singles round of 32. Rathana Viraksak succumbed to a 14-21, 10-21 defeat by Pamudu Randiligama of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SWIMMING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the boys\u2019 100m freestyle Heat 3 Pieter Vanoosten finished fifth in a time of 54.54. He missed the cut to the finals, finishing 23<sup>rd<\/sup> overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cambodian representatives in the boys\u2019 200m breaststroke Heat 4, finished in fifth and sixth placings. Lim Sokvearaksak was fifth in 2:34.15 while Sok Erasak was one spot behind, clocking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2:41.16. Lim was only 22<sup>nd<\/sup> fastest while Sok was placed 28<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the boys&#8217; 50m Butterfly&nbsp;Heat 1, Sok finished fourth in 28.53 while in Heat 4, Pieter was timed at 26.63. They finished 42<sup>nd<\/sup> and 26<sup>th<\/sup> respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the girls\u2019100m freestyle Heat 1, Lim Sok Kunthakpor clocked 1:06.15, finishing third in the race behind Indonesian Natasha Oeoen and India\u2019s Rujala Shashidara. Lim\u2019s time was only good enough to finish 31<sup>st<\/sup> overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lim also &nbsp;finished first in the girls&#8217; 50m Backstroke&nbsp;Heat 1 in a time of 34.40 while Kheun Chanchakriya clocked 32.00 in Heat 5.
