Thorn Chanthou is through to the semi-finals of the Boys\u2019 -51kg combat 14-15 quarter-finals after receiving a walkover from Iran\u2019s Esmaeil Jafari in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will take on Uzbekistan\u2019s Asadbek Turdiboev for a place in the final. Asadbaek defeated Turkmenistan\u2019s Deryaguly Annaorazov 20-18 in his quarter-final tie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also through to the semi-finals is Om Sreypenh in the Girls\u2019 -51kg 16-17. In the quarter-finals Om Sreypenh defeated Hananeh Taghipoorheidari of Iran 30-27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lass will take on Filipina Iyeshia Blair Bituin in the semi-finals today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There was more good news for Cambodia with Visal Chhong qualifying for the Boys\u2019 -54kg combat 16-17 quarter-finals. He edged out Bahaa Din Khodor of Lebanon 29-28. Visal will take on Kyrgyzstan\u2019s Allanur Abdykarov for a place in the semi-finals today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the boys\u2019 -45kg combat quarter-finals, Vuthy Chanthon was edged out 27-30 by Doston Abduvaliev of Uzebekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There was also no winning joy in the Boys\u2019 -48kg combat quarter-finals when Porn Sarapich surrendered to a 26-30 at hands of Abdullah Osamah Hussein of Iraq,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Boys\u2019 -57kg 16-17 combat quarter-finals Khun Dimey was beaten 27-30 by Isaam Khaleel of the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, in the Boys\u2019 -60kg combat quarter-finals Hem Mangsrun succumbed to a 27-30 defeat at the hands of Rayan Ahmad of Jordan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sai Sophea was unlucky to have lost 28-29 in the girls\u2019 -48kg quarter-finals by Mia Nur Al Amani Nushary of Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TAEKWONDO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Seng Mengchun\u2019s hopes making the semi-finals of the boys\u2019 -48kg was denied by Thailand\u2019s Panuwat Kasemsin.
