Ikeda\u2019s victory capped an impressive run through the competition, marking Japan\u2019s final gold in the Kuala Lumpur event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran\u2019s Morteza Nemati produced a commanding performance to claim the gold medal in the Men\u2019s Kumite -75kg category. Nemati overpowered Ernest Sharafutdinov of WKF-1 with a clear 6\u20131 victory. Nemati stayed composed, finishing the match with a confident lead and securing Iran\u2019s last gold of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one of the most closely contested bouts of the day, China\u2019s Li Gong triumphed over Kanon Irokawa of Japan 4\u20133 in the Women\u2019s Kumite -61kg final.
