American Alexander King took first place at the Ultra Trail Whistler by more than 38 minutes, with a winning time of 11:27:49.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following behind King was Canadian Samir Gouin coming in second with a time of 12:06:42, followed by Cristhian Lagos of Colombia who rounded out the top three with a finishing time of 12:09:57.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The world-class ski resort town of Whistler welcomed over 1,000 registered runners from around the world to the 2025 Ultra Trail Whistler. With four race distances of 100km, 50km, 25km and 10km to choose from, runners took on a journey of natural beauty and challenge as they ran through the deep evergreen forests, past stunning mountain lakes and onto high alpine vistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The women’s 100km race also proved to be a dominant win for Sarah Allaben of the USA who outpaced the next closest competitor by more than 40 minutes with a winning time of 13:11:45. Coming in second place was Anna Dulko (CAN) with a time of 13:54:38, followed by Jenny Abegg (USA) in third place after finishing the course in 13:55:45
The 50km race took off an hour and a half after the 100km race and saw Nicholas Handel of the USA triumph over the competition with a winning time of 4:48:52.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coming in a little over 11 minutes later was another American – Liam Meirow with a second-place cincher and a time of 5:00:02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third place ultimately went to a third American – Gordon Gianniny, who came across the finish line hot on Liam’s heels with a time of 5:03:08.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the women’s race, Canadians Frederica Blouin-Comeau and Marzelle Dominique Van Der Merwe led the pack, finishing with times of 05:44:50 and 06:03:18 respectively. Kelly Young. Also of Canada, came in third, finishing the course in 06:19:38.
The event wrapped up with both the 25km and 10km competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 25k, Canadian Idris Dutertre took the top spot in the men’s race with a time of 2:36:37.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mia Bennison of Canada was the female 25km winner with a time of 3:06:01.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
