Her win was the first gold of her career. Austria\u2019s Jasmin Plank took silver reaching hold 23+ and Japan\u2019s Futahashi Matoi took bronze reaching hold 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USA\u2019s Megan Gleason was fourth on hold 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The men\u2019s RP3 title went to Japan\u2019s Yamashita Kazuhiko who continued his strong climbing from qualification into the final to secure the gold medal with a hold 39+ climb. Belgium\u2019s Camille Caulier is quite new to Para Climbing, but he now has a World Championships silver to show for his efforts. Caulier reached hold 35+ for his silver ahead of the Netherlands\u2019 Jamie Barendrecht who took bronze from hold 34+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan\u2019s Takano Tadashi was fourth on hold 32+. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brazil\u2019s Marina Dias defended her RP3 title with a hold 45 climb enough to take the gold. Dias\u2019 win at the World Championships in 2023 was the last time she stood on the top step of the podium, but return she has for another world title. USA\u2019s Nat Vorel took silver with a hold 41 climb and was ahead of Japan\u2019s Yoshida Momoko who reached hold 38+ for bronze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Germany\u2019s Lena Schoellig was fourth on hold 36.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were two French champions in the AL sport classes as Thierry Delarue and Lucie Jarrige both claimed gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delarue won the men\u2019s AL2 for his fifth title, with a hold 44+ climb enough for the win. Japan\u2019s Yuki Shuhei took silver reaching hold 34+ and USA\u2019s Corey Ramos took bronze reaching hold 34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belgium\u2019s Frederik Leys was fourth on hold 32+, USA\u2019s Lee Shaffer was fifth on hold 32 and teammate Ethan Zilz was sixth on hold 30+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winning her sixth world title, Jarrige climbed to hold 40 to win the women\u2019s AL2. Jarrige beat Australia\u2019s Sarah Larcombe who took silver on hold 35+ and USA\u2019s Daliya Hansen who took bronze on hold 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portugal\u2019s T\u00e2nia Chaves was fourth on hold 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WORLD RECORD falls in women\u2019s Speed \ud83d\udd25 Para Climbing crowns 11 champions!\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DG3D16o6CmE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>France\u2019s Solenne Piret won her fifth world title and was a step above her competitors in the final round of the women\u2019s AU2. Piret reached hold 47 with silver medallist Lucia Capovilla of Italy reaching hold 27 and bronze medallist Eleanor Rubin of the USA reaching hold 26+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>France\u2019s Silo\u00eb Tetaz was fourth on hold 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After her win Piret said: \u201cI\u2019m feeling happy, but I think I need a bit of time to process this victory. But I will enjoy it. I will go with my teammates, get some dinner and <em>celebrate all the medals we have got in the French team.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking about the final Piret said: \u201cThe route was amazing, although I have to admit I\u2019m a bit disappointed to fall three or four moves from the top, I wanted to top it, and it was really doable. Now I\u2019m a bit frustrated, I know I should have done it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Explaining how she stays at the top of her game Piret said: \u201cI train a lot. It\u2019s more and more pressure and you have to deal with that. I try to stay in shape and stay strong; it\u2019s a long process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yasuraoka Nobuhiro has two medals in his climbing career, a silver from Bern 2023, and now a gold from Seoul. The Japanese climber reached hold 35+ for his win. Qualification results came into play for silver and bronze in the men\u2019s AU3 as Hungary\u2019s Bence Kerekes and Israel\u2019s Mor Michael Sapir both reached hold 32+, and it meant Kerekes took silver and Sapir took bronze due to their standings in the previous round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USA\u2019s Mason Keough was fourth on hold 25+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With three climbers in the final it was all about the colour in the women\u2019s AU3, and it was Germany\u2019s Rosalie Schaupert who had the shiniest one of all taking gold with a hold 40 climb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After her win Schuapert said: \u201cI\u2019m quite excited still, but I\u2019m starting to realise what has happened. It\u2019s my first World Championships in this category and I\u2019m feeling pretty good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking about the route the German climber said: \u201cAt first it was easy in the first section, but it got really hard, fast. I like how we had to transfer from the right side to the left side and it was a bit different to normal routes.
