It was also part of celebrating the World Fencing Day 2025 activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This effort stems from the federation\u2019s ongoing partnership with the One Community, One Book program, which had pledged nearly 30,000 books of all levels\u2014from kindergarten to university\u2014for schools and institutions across Cambodia in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, the federation has already distributed more than 12,000 books to various public and private educational institutions. Notable donations include approximately 7,000 books to Roka A commune schools through the General Directorate of Sports, around 1,000 books to Kampot province schools via the Rumduol Charity Foundation, and 1,500 books to Chan Yun School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 12, 2025, Cambodian Fencing Federation Secretary General, Sok Ang, represented by Daen Sokha, Head of the Sports Office at the Stung Treng Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sports, formally handed over 1,300 books to Kim Sophea, Deputy Head of the Primary Education Office. The remaining books will be delivered in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis initiative is more than just about fencing\u2014it\u2019s about using sports as a bridge to education, community support, and social development,\u201d said Sok Ang. \u201cIt is also a gift for the school who passion to develop fencing in the community as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding to this wave of generosity, the Fue et Sang Fencing Club also made a remarkable contribution just yesterday, on September 14, 2025. The club donated 6,500 books to Siem Reap province, benefiting two schools and two orphanages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Club owner Morakot explained his motivation during the handover ceremony: \u201cEven though today is my birthday, I prefer celebrating it this way\u2014by giving back to the community and having the chance to also speak and showcase fencing.\u201d His remarks highlighted not only a personal commitment to social responsibility but also the club\u2019s vision of promoting fencing as a sport that inspires both discipline and compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The federation emphasized that such contributions\u2014whether from organizations, private clubs, or individual donors\u2014form a vital part of its broader mission to support underprivileged students, particularly in rural and remote areas.
