Japan won two more medals on the final day of the Asian Karate Federation Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships in Shaoguan to take their overall tally to 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results in the under-21category, saw them topping the medal table, raking in 2 silvers and five bronze medals as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran finished with a 7-9-6 haul while Saudi Arabia finished third overall with a tally of 5-1-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kotomi Sato started ball rolling for Japan securing the gold medal in the U21 women\u2019s kata event after overcoming Vietnam\u2019s Thi Thu Uyen Hoang. Sato\u2019s precision and control set her apart, giving Japan the first title of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soshi Okumura defeated Muhammad Arif Hafizi Hishamadi of Malaysia in the U21 men\u2019s kata final. Okumura\u2019s strong form and sharp technique impressed the judges, sealing a second kata gold for Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
