Entering the tournament as favorites, Team Vitality had their sights set on history, aiming to become the first two-time MWI at EWC champions. Their road to the title was far from effortless, however, as the defending champions were pushed to the limit by Falcons Vega and dropped the opening game against Geltek Cyber Team before finding their footing on the way to the Grand Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Natus Vincere arrived at EWC 26 looking to rewrite the story after a disappointing showing last year. The Philippine squad faced another uphill battle after a shaky start, but refused to be eliminated, battling through the lower bracket and sweeping Galaxy Phoenix in the semifinals to earn their shot at redemption on the biggest stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Natus Vincere struck first in the Grand Finals, taking an early lead and closing out Game 1 in 18 minutes. Vitality answered back in Game 2 before surviving the longest game of the tournament in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Refusing to back down, Natus Vincere leveled the series once again in Game 4, but Vitality proved too strong in the final stretch. The defending champions closed out the series with the two fastest victories of the match, claiming the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women\u2019s International title at the 2026 Esports World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the win, Michelle “Chell” Siswanto praised the team\u2019s hard work, saying the championship was a reward for the dedication and effort the squad put in throughout the tournament. Tournament MVP Viorelle “Vival” Chen said she was thrilled with both the individual honor and the team\u2019s championship result, especially with the tournament taking place in Paris, Team Vitality\u2019s home ground. She dedicated the victory to the fans who supported the team throughout their title defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final was more than a clash between two MLBB powerhouses. It also featured a head-to-head battle between the top two clubs in the Club Championship standings. With Vitality\u2019s victory and the additional 1,000 points, they closed the gap on Natus Vincere to just 250 points, as Na\u2019Vi earned 750 points for their runner-up finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More importantly, both organizations now meet the Club Championship eligibility requirements. Each club has secured a championship victory while also achieving a second top-eight finish, ensuring they remain in contention for the overall title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
