Series sensation Ashton Boughen (Ducati – VRX Dirt Store ) leads the 2026 FIM Flat Track World Championship field into action this coming Saturday when round three is staged at Teterow in Germany where the British newcomer will be aiming to complete his hat-trick of victories in just his third appearance at elite level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The eighteen-year-old shocked the sport’s global fanbase when he won the opening round in the Netherlands in May and later that month he proved his victory was not a case of beginner’s luck when he came out on top at round two in Italy to open up an early six-point advantage ahead of former champion Gerard Bailo (Zaeta).

Bailo, who won the title in 2022 and took silver the following season, has also started the campaign in fine form with two runner-up finishes behind Boughen, but the Spaniard knows another podium finish could be vital if he is to remain in contention when the extended ten-round series signs off with back-to-back rounds in Argentina in October.

Behind the leading pair the talent is stacking up with defending and two-time champion Ervin Kraj\u010dovi\u010d (KTM Schruf – Zucco Racing) from the Czech Republic currently tied on points for third with Tim Neave (Ducati – VRX Dirt Store) after trading fifth and third-placed finishes with the British rider at the opening two rounds. Having finished on the podium last time at Terenzano, the thirty-five-year-old from Prague will be aiming to carry this momentum into Teterow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his fourth season in the championship, Neave has started well for his new team, but he is also tied on points with his compatriot Jack Bell (Triumph) who has twice finished fourth to keep himself in contention as behind him a field of fast, ambitious riders are jostling for position with Italy’s experienced Daniele Tonelli (TM – Donelli’s Garage) leading the way.
