Phnom Penh Crown handed already-crowned Cambodian Premier League champions Svay Rieng a 2-1 defeat in the Championship Group to keep the race for second place alive heading into the final round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crown made a blistering start as Marcus Haber Dyer opened the scoring inside four minutes before Andres Nieto doubled the advantage soon after, leaving the hosts stunned early in the contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Svay Rieng responded through Saret Krya midway through the first half, but the champions were unable to find another breakthrough despite increased pressure after the interval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phnom Penh Crown remained disciplined defensively to secure an important victory that moved them level on points with Angkor Tiger in the battle for AFC Challenge League qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
