Sarah Hubbard has broken the barebow women\u2019s qualification round world record, shooting 648 out of a maximum 720 at the Archery GB National Tour Stage 2 competition at Meriden Archery Club, Coventry, UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The score beats by a single point the previous record of 647 set by Giulia Mantilli in Terni, Italy in June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m super thrilled, it was a really great day,\u201d said Hubbard, who went on to win the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI came into this weekend knowing that my qualification rounds have been much stronger this year, but I didn\u2019t kind of come in thinking, \u2018oh, I’m going to go for this\u2019. It just kind of happened.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt was nerve-wracking of course, when you know that you\u2019re on for it. You’ve just kind of got to stay as calm as you can, as much as you can. But it\u2019s conquering those nerves that I think makes the difference.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
