The 16-21, 21-14, 21-14 win was also their third successive win over Xin Yee-Ting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan\u2019s fifth seeded duo Kaho Osawa-Mai Tanabe were also packed off in the opening round. They were beaten 12-21, 21-18, 15-21 by Chinese-Taipei\u2019s Lui Lok Lok in a match that lasted 82-minutes. It was sweet revenge for the Taiwanese duo, who were beaten by Osawa-Tanabe in their only previous meeting at the All-England Open earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the men\u2019s doubles, the newly forged Malaysian pairing of Chia Weijie-Teo Ee Yi sprang a surprise as they came back from losing the opening game to defeat Indonesia\u2019s eighth seeded Muhammad Rian Ardianto-Rahmat Hidayat 20-22, 21-19, 21-11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seventh seeded Hariharan Amsakarunan-M.R. Arjun of India were also shown the exit in the opening round.
