The field for the World Cup of Darts has been confirmed following the conclusion of the Austrian Darts Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
World Champion Luke Littler and Luke Humphries renew their partnership for top seeds England, who are eyeing a record-extending sixth World Cup triumph in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nations with players on the PDC Rankings Ladder now have their pairings locked in for next month’s showpiece, which will take place at Frankfurt’s Eissporthalle from June 11-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual pairs event will see 40 teams compete for the coveted title and a boosted \u00a3500,000 prize fund, as England, Netherlands, Northern Ireland and Scotland – the top four ranked nations based on lowest cumulative PDC ranking \u2013 enter the tournament in round two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen will team up for four-time winners Netherlands, who are bidding to reclaim the crown for the first time since 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reigning World Cup champions Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney return to represent third seeds Northern Ireland, while Cameron Menzies will make his World Cup debut alongside Scottish icon Gary Anderson for two-time winners Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko will fly the flag for hosts Germany, as Mike De Decker and Dimitri Van den Bergh represent Belgium for a second consecutive year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wales’ two-time World Cup champion Jonny Clayton is set to be joined in Frankfurt by debutant Nick Kenny, after Gerwyn Price made himself unavailable for selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
William O’Connor and Mickey Mansell form a new-look partnership for former finalists Republic of Ireland, as Sebastian Bialecki returns to the World Cup fold alongside Poland’s premier player Krzysztof Ratajski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The field also includes Mongolia and Trinidad & Tobago for the first time, while Thailand and Slovenia make their returns to the World Cup this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
