Chinese Taipei, meanwhile face a do-or-die match against Denmark in their final group tie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taiwanese veteran Chou Tien Chen, the world number six, gave his side a dream start, defeating Yoo Tae, ranked 60 rungs below him 21-18. 21-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>World number 14 Chiu Hsiang Chieh-Wang Chi Lin overcame second game loss to double the lead, defeating the unheralded pairing of Jin Yong-Seo Seung-jae 21-16, 15-21, 21-11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Korean fightback started with the second singles. World number 85 Choi Jihoon was not expected to trouble 21 ranked Chi Ju Yen. But the latter, who was expected to deliver the winning point for Taiwan was beaten 17-21, 21-18, 16-21 after a 67-minute battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cho Song-hyun-Kim Won-ho also punched above their weight in the second doubles beating the world number 16 pairing of Lee Jhe-Huei-Yang Po-Hsuan 20-22, 21-18, 21-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world number 205 had also beaten their Taiwanese rivals in their only previous meeting at the Asian Team Championships earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teenager Hyeon-woo then stepped up to deliver the winning point for the Koreans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Favourites China dropped the first singles in their against Canada but romped home 4-1 winners. Their top player Shi Yuqi conceded a walkover to Panam champion Victor Lai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With India beating Australia 5-0, the Indians not top Group A ahead of China on countaback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both teams are already through to the quarter-finals and meet on Wednesday in a top of the table Group A &nbsp;clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Group B, Japan and Malaysia confirmed their quarter-final berth with wins over their European rivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malaysia, despite the shock defeat of their top singles Leong Jun Hao, went on to take an unassailable lead.
