He tied for eighth at this event last year and finished No. 51 on the season-long points list to retain membership for this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tommy Cocha carded a third-round 66 and is in sixth at 9-under, while Nelson Ledesma is T7 at 8-under. In a tie for 41st at 2-under are Argentinian amateurs Segundo Oliva Pinto and Mateo Pulcini, the reigning Latin America Amateur Championship winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Johnson leads Goosen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Eighteen-hole leader Zach Johnson (+28) scored 13 points in Modified Stableford on Saturday and sits three points ahead of World Golf Hall of Fame member Retief Goosen (+25) entering the final round of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 50-year-old Johnson seeks his second win on PGA Tour Champions, having won the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Retief Goosen is three points behind as he seeks his fifth win on PGA Tour Champions.<br><br>Three rookies &#8211; Rory Sabbatini, Ben Crane and George McNeill together with David Duval sit T3 at 21 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Three-time champion (2017, 2023, 2024) Stephen Ames (+18) scored the most points on Saturday (+16) and enters the final round sitting T10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making his 200th start on PGA TOUR Champions, defending champion Jerry Kelly (+17) sits T13. Tournament host and Charles Schwab Cup leader Stewart Cink (+16) sits T16.
