It was the Ga-eun\u2019s first win over Ratchanok in six meetings and earned a second round clash against Japan\u2019s Riko Gunji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fifth seeded Han Yue was also shown the exit by a Korean player \u2013 Sim Yu-jin. Despite taking the first game, Han Yue was dismantled in the next two, giving Yu-jin a well-deserved 16-21, 21-10, 21-15 win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Korean lass will play Malaysia\u2019s Letshanaa Karupathevan, who defeated India\u2019s Tanvi Sharma 21-19, 21-14, in the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two Koreans joined their compatriot and top seed An Se-young, who is looking for the only major title to elude her. The Olympic champion brushed aside Singapore\u2019s Yeo Jia Min 21-15 21-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the men\u2019s singles India\u2019s Ayush Shetty stunned the Shifeng, the world number seven 21-13, 21-16.&nbsp; The US Open champion took 51-minutes to upstage the Chinese star and will play Chi Yu Jen of Chinese Taipei next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the men\u2019s doubles, sixth seeded Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun failed to get past the opening hurdle, losing 18-21, 18-21 to China\u2019s He Jiting-Ren Xiangyu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also out are the seventh seeded Malaysian pairing of Goh Sze Feo-Nur Izzuddin.
