Gilligan posted 1-under 70 on while Gandon made his move, carding his second straight round of 65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gandon carded seven birdies and one bogey to earn a share of the 54-hole lead. It was a nerve-wracking day for overnight leader Gilligan. He rebounded from a disastrous 3-over 39 on the front nine with bogey-free 4-under 31 on the back nine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chasing the duo, just one stroke behind are the duo of Jay Card III and Augusto N\u00fa\u00f1ez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Card III, who played one season of collegiate golf and earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in music performance from High Point University, set a new career-high 54-hole position on the Korn Ferry Tour and will be looking to go one better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00fa\u00f1ez is seeking his his first Korn Ferry Tour title in his 151st career start on the Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the eight players who stand T5 or higher, only Gandon and Trace Crowe have won on the Korn Ferry Tour.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Caleb Van Arragon, Mitchell Meissner, Cole Hammer and Trace Crowe are all tied fifth at 14-under.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Van Arragon carded the lowest score of the third round with a 8-under 63.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scott Gutschewski (T66\/-2), winner of the 2023 event and son Luke Gutschewski (T54\/-5) both made the cut in the same event for the first time in two attempts after the Pinnacle Bank Championship two years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rain plays havoc in Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to inclement weather, the third round of the Texas Open was suspended with the entire field yet to complete the round. The first groups off are through 14 holes while the final group is through six holes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert MacIntyre leads the pack at 15-under through six holes in his third round. He made five pars and one birdie at the par-4 fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ludvig \u00c5berg trails two strokes behind, having also played six holes. He Entered the third round four back from MacIntyre but now sits two back after recording birdies on Nos. 1, 2 and 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five of the nine players who currently sit 10-under or better have not yet qualified for next week&#8217;s Masters Tournament. That includes Matt Wallace (T3\/-11), Ryo Hisatsune (T3\/-11), Chris Kirk (T5\/-10), Chandler Phillips (T5\/-10) and Tony Finau (T5\/-10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wallace&#8217;s third round was highlighted by
