He will be up against fourth seeded Popov Junior in the semi-final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Popov Junior overcame a strong fight in the opening game before asserting his dominance over China\u2019s Dong Tuanyao 22-20, 21-13 in his quarter-final tie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fellow Frenchman Lanier will play Japan\u2019s Yudai Okimoto in the other semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lanier picked up a clinical 21-14, 21-15 victory over Taiwanese Su Li Yang while Okimoto was equally impressive in his 21-12, 21-15 win over Denmark\u2019s Magnus Johannesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India will have two representatives in the women\u2019s singles semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Youngster Tanvi Sharma picked up a shocking 21-14, 21-14 win over Japan\u2019s Natsuki Nidaira.
