Egypt’s Hesham Abdelgawad captured the Male Kumite -75 kg title after defeating Gadzhi Gadzhiev of WKF-1 by a 5-2 scoreline. Abdelgawad remained calm under pressure and capitalised on Gadzhiev’s forward movement with well-timed counters.
Male Kumite -84 Kg: Ali Asghar Asiabari Finishes Strong
Ali Asghar Asiabari of Iran completed the event with a gold medal in the Male Kumite -84 kg category, beating Djordje Salapura of Serbia 4-1. Asiabari relied on sharp movement and accurate scoring to take control early, sealing Iran’s second gold of the day to end the tournament on a high note for the Iranian delegation.
