Indonesia chalked up their third straight victory over Cambodia in their eight match T20i series at the Udayana Cricket Ground Bali.
Cambodia, who suffered the ignominy of giving away a record five wickets in just an over on Tuesday, were beaten by eight wickets in their third match.
Indonesia had beaten Cambodia by 60 runs in their first match-up and by three runs in their second encounter the same day. The match ended with Cambodia finishing at 112-5 (20 overs) and Indonesia chasing down the figure with a 116-2 (15.5 over).
Put to bat first, Cambodia had a solid start before Marcelle Hanekom was caught out after his partnership with Shah Abrar Hussain had reached 312 runs in 5.6 overs.
Captain Luqman Butt followed just two overs later after contributing only six runs with the scorline at 43-2.
Etienne Beukes top scored for Cambodia with a steady 35 runs not out but things started to unravel after Shah followed exited in the 10th over after having contributed 26 runs.
Muhammad Naeem was out at 51-4 with the top order tethering before Gulam Murtaza steadied the innings with 23 runs before he too fell at 103-5 in the penultimate over. Nirmaljit Singh contributed two runs facing to balls.
Indonesia wrapped up the match with 4.1 overs left in the game. Opener Gede Priandana, who pciekd up a new T20i record with a 5-1 bowling in just an over the day earlier, gave the Indonesians a solid start of 24 runs but it was teammate Anjar Tadarus, who steered the Indonesian to a well-deserved victory, knocking in a 59 not out.
