Jaejun partnered-Bon Hong Koo in the doubles final to outclass teammates Kim Kyungone Kim-Kim Se Hun 6-1, 6-2. It was the first title for the pair, having reached the semi-finals of the J30 Petit Camp Phoenix and the J60 Phoenix in September.
Jaejun will play China’s Chen Xiaozheng in the boys singles final, with both players chasing their first singles title tomorrow.
Jaejun will be looking sign off the tournament with the singles title as well, as he has been playing with confidence throughout the week.
He hardly raised a sweat in his 6-3, 6-0 defeat of China’s Yue Yu in the semi-finals, This was his first final appearance this season, having lost to Belgium’s Nicolas Fays in the semi-finals of the J30 Petit Camp Phoenix in September.
While Jaejun qualified for the final without dropping a single set, Xiaozheng’s only hiccup was in the second round where he overcame a tough opening set before overcoming Fedor Evdokimov 5-7, 6-3, 6-2.
