Salma Abu-Rahma of the United States claimed the first U14 kumite title of the day in the Female -42 kg division. She defeated Mexico’s Nelida Alejandra Avila Ibarra to secure the gold medal.

Mexico celebrated a home victory as Alexia Sanchez De Leon won the U14 Female -47 kg division. She produced a convincing 7-0 victory over Nina Kacic of the United States in the final.

Chile claimed another U14 title as Santiago Riquelme Diaz won the Male -55 kg division. He edged Mexico’s Elian Ali Rodriguez Diaz 3-2 in a close final.
Sebastian Castillo takes Male +55 kg title
Panama’s Sebastian Castillo added another gold medal to the delegation of Panama by winning the U14 Male +55 kg division. He defeated Spain’s Enrique Rodriguez Fuentes 2-0.
Summer Zhuo wins U14 Female Kata
The U14 Female Kata title went to Summer Zhuo of the United States. She overcame compatriot Claire Sun 4-1 to take gold in the final.
Sebastian Castillo completes kata-kumite double
Sebastian Castillo enjoyed a standout final day in Guadalajara by winning his second U14 title. After taking the Male +55 kg kumite crown, the Panamanian also captured Male Kata, defeating Canada’s Varick Jaison Naickar 3-2.
