Cambodia’s first English language sports website Infinity Sports will be hosting a three-day Sports Journalism Workshop from May 11-13.
The workshop supported by the Ministry of Information (MOI) of Cambodia is part of a series of training programmes to be conducted to help elevate sports journalism in the Kingdom.
The three day programme would be held at the MOI auditorium and would be conducted by award winning Malaysian journalist S.T. Arasu.
Arasu, a former two-time Malaysian Sportswriter of Year, comes with more than three decades of sports writing experience and had previously served as a consultant to the Cambodia SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games organising committees.
The journalism workshop is designed to improve reporting skills, covering areas like writing, research, interviewing, editing, and digital storytelling.
The workshop varies in focus, from broadcast and investigative journalism to specific topics like cultural criticism or creative writing, and is offered to a range of skill levels, including university students, emerging journalists, and experienced professionals.
Public relation practitioners as well as communication officers of corporate companies would benefit by attending the workshop.
Entries are limited to 50 participants. Those interested can register online at https://www.infinitysport.asia/index.php/sports-journalism-workshop/
